Where there is smoke, there’s fire? Perception. Lies vs. truths are a matter of your beliefs and what you allow to enter your world and your reality. Do you ever wonder about time, space, your beliefs and how it manifests in this thing we call “our life”. Does the life you’re living bring you joy, comfort and happiness? Do you wake up each day looking forward to what it brings? If not, something’s got to change. Are you ready? Today’s episode is going to “rock your world” in a way you won’t believe.
I’ll be diving into the subject of epigenetics, and how our genes respond to what we do, eat, think, say, feel and it manifests in ways you may not realize. Hold on to your hats, I warned you!
How Your Genes Listen to Your Beliefs with Dr. Bruce Lipton | Commune
If you live in a state of fear your body will continue to stay in a state of anxiousness, what is often called the “frozen state” in reference to the Polyvagal Theory. I’ll be talking about the Polyvagal Theory more on future episodes, make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss it. Stress, fear and states of anxiety deplete the body of essential vitamins and nutrients.
Dr. Bruce Lipton lays out some pretty wild ideas, some of which will be hard to grasp at first. Take your time and think about what he shares, it may change a lot about how you think or at least your perspective on a lot of things. Changing my perspective allowed me to let go of old wounds, forgive those people and circumstances that had plagued me with guilt, hurt or other negative feelings. I shifted my thinking to embody what I wanted to experience, a shift of consciousness to that of a warrior, a survivor, someone to be loved as a conquering hero. Not someone who is broken and must depend on the government, the medical system or religious belief systems to prop up their old version of the world. Break free of your old ways and say hello to a new year, a new way of thinking and a new promise of gratitude and feeling loved…just for being authentically you.
We still have our stripes but we can start to see color in our otherwise black and white world. Come on zebras…you CAN do it! You are strong and can show those horses some moves they never have dreamed of.
Are YOU Deficient in B6?
B6 deficiency is very common with the Standard American Diet (SAD) full of processed foods and severely lacking in B6 nutrition. As much as 90% of B6 is destroyed by the heat in the food processing and so the FDA and USDA have “fortified foods” with many synthetic vitamins, notably B vitamins, folic acid and iron. Could this somehow cause an imbalance in our bodies natural homeostasis? Do you have deficiencies? I provide Dr. Berg’s informational and educational video on B6 deficiency symptoms for your review.

B6 Toxicity?
Some people have reported “toxicity” issues when taking B6 supplements. I share information on B6 in the podcast but didn’t mention the need for B2 as a precursor to B6, especially if you have MTHFR issues. B2 is a prerequisite to the biochemical process known as methylation to get started and for the body to be able to efficiently assimilate the B6 supplements. Many are missing the zinc which is a companion nutrient to B6 and should be considered. Also, mega dosing any vitamin, mineral or specific diet is not good, especially long term or supplementing without testing for the need can lead to toxicity issues.
The half life of B6 and the fact that it is water soluble tends to be eliminated from the body in about 8 hours after ingestion. If you experience toxicity symptoms of B6, stop taking the B6 supplement and the symptoms should dissipate on their own. The next logical step is to investigate the other co-factors that might be missing.
I’ve included this video for your reference if you believe a B2 deficiency might be a culprit to your issues.

Approximately 26-38% of the general population are deficient in B6.

Micronutrient deficiencies are widespread across the globe in both developed and developing countries. These deficiencies pose a serious threat to long-term health and longevity. Deficiencies in key minerals, such as magnesium and potassium, increase the risk of chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disease and diabetes. It is estimated that 1 out of 3 people in the United States has at least 10 minerals they are deficient in. Those 10 minerals being potassium, manganese, magnesium, calcium, zinc, iron, copper, selenium, chromium, molybdenum and boron. The Mineral Fix is a comprehensive guide about the role of essential minerals in the human diet.
