Shopping and Dining with the Amish | #everybitcountschallenge
Week 2 of the #everybitcountschallenge finds me shopping in our Amish community for a half bushel of peaches, fresh tomatoes, candy onions and 2 new plants for our homestead. Last month we got grapes, this visit we brought home blueberries. Later we attended a benefit dinner for the local Amish community school. The Amish do not allow photographs of themselves. I also needed some things from my local Mennonite store where I do a lot of bulk shopping (by special order).
I canned another batch of Zesty Zucchini Salsa, some Fiesta Salsa, Chicken & Gravy Dinner, "Ugly Chicken" (Raw packed chicken). I chopped and froze some green and red peppers and I made a pot of spaghetti sauce and froze it to eat with "zoodles" when the zucchini blesses us...yet again I can pop a cube of sauce out, heat it up and "spiralize" a zucchini into some "zoodles" for dinner. Next time I'll be canning that half bushel of peaches into lots of sweetness for the pantry for us to enjoy this winter.

I’ve found it cumbersome to upload the same video to two separate platforms and having to prove I’m a human too many times for my liking. Future videos will include narration instead of background music. I cancelled my subscription to Epidemic Sound due to cost.
